To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Then tighten the included mounting nuts against the underside of the counter, and connect the hot and cold water lines. Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Empire Faucets Dual Knob RV Kitchen Faucet in the chrome finish. Now, this faucet here will let you upgrade the kitchen faucet in your RV or camper. It is a dual handle design with the acrylic knob handles, and what's nice with this faucet is they use the quarter turn cartridge stems, which enable the faucet to fully turn on and off with a quarter of a turn. So just by turning in a quarter of a turn, you can fully turn it on, fully turn it off. It's a washerless design, so it does reduce friction and daily wear for long-lasting durability.
You don't have to worry about a washer being on the inside that might wear out and will start leaking. If you noticed, the spout on this, it's a nice high-rise spout on a rectangular base, you can see it rotates fully all the way. It does use a standard flow aerator, gives you the water pressure needed to clean dishes faster, and this is a non-metallic ABS plastic construction with a nice bright chrome finish to it. You can see it is a two-hole installation, it includes the deck plate right here and the mounting hardware. You can see the nuts that are already on here.
Now, the inlet shanks themselves, they have the standard male NPSM connections. Now, when you do install this, it will require tile and tub caulk for installation. Now, that is not included, you would have to purchase that separately, we do sell that on our website also. This is WaterSense certified, ADA compliant. Few specs on this, we're gonna measure the base length.
So if we go from one end to the other, you can see it's gonna be right about 10 1/4 inches long or wide, and the depth of it is gonna be right at about two inches deep. Now, the spout length itself is gonna run right about 8 7/8 inches long, and the inlet shanks, the two inlet shanks down here for the hot and cold water, the inner diameter is a half an inch, outer diameter is 13/16 of an inch, the distance between them two inlets, center to center, is gonna be right at eight inches, and the length of each inlet is two inches long. But that should do it for the review on this Empire Faucets Dual Knob RV Kitchen Faucet in the nice chrome finish.
